I pursued my interest in law and graduated with a B. Proc degree at the University of the Western Cape in 1999.  After completing my practical legal training at UCT and articles of clerkship at VGV Inc., I was admitted as an attorney in 2002.

After a period of 2 years, I transitioned into the family business which largely participated in the residential development sector. We completed a spectrum of housing projects including: Single residential dwellings, GAP housing, group housing developments and sectional title developments.

After 2008, we entered the public sector domain where we successfully took on projects for the Provincial Government of the Western Cape and the City of Cape Town. These included, but was not limited to, places like Brooklyn Chest Hospital, Cafda School of Skills, Observatory Recreation Centre (Heritage project), Monwabisi Beach Resort, The Solid Waste Department at the City of Cape Town, and Paternoster RDP houses in the Saldanha Bay Municipality.

Projects were often complex and had to be delivered under challenging conditions which led to a very hands-on approach to ensure that the required quality was successfully delivered on time.  With the nature and scope of the projects being varied, I accumulated invaluable experience and built lasting relations with many role players across the spectrum. After 15 years of successfully delivering projects, I took the bold step of establishing my own construction and residential development company called Cape Consolidated Construction (Pty) Ltd.

Growing up in our household, we were taught the importance of respect, compassion, integrity and honesty.  These are values that I try to incorporate into my daily life and work ethics. Having several years of project management and operations experience fused with my legal background and upbringing, has always made client satisfaction my priority. The principal I live by is to constantly strive to maintain high standards and ensure that the standard of work delivered to the end user is of a high quality delivered at a fair price within the required time frame. This, coupled with faith and determination, I believe, is the path to true success.
